Rick Gruber is the Managing Member of Offshore Marine. Rick has been an avid boater at Lake Mead his whole life.  He currently owns an Advantage boat and spends a considerable amount of time on the lake.  During the course of his trips he has established many relationships with persons in the boating industry.  As a boat owner, he realized that there were limited qualified mechanic's in Las Vegas and that the town was starving for a shop that provided good service with a quick turn around time.  Offshore Marine was then born in January of 2000.

 

The shop started in a small 3,000 sq. ft. warehouse with two mechanic's.  Within just a few short months the mechanic's were overwhelmed with work and Offshore Marine needed to expand.  A 9,000 sq. ft. shop and showroom were purchased on Lake Mead Parkway that gave the business prime exposure to traffic coming to and from the lake.  This enabled Offshore to employ four full-time mechanics and have a large indoor and outdoor area for the use as a show area for the sale of new and used boats.

 

Doug Malmedal is our General Manager.  He has owned boats for many years and was able to turn his love of boating into his profession at Offshore Marine. He has been with Offshore Marine since it's conception and is happy to help you find the boat you've been looking for, and any financing you may need to make it yours.

 

Randy is our Parts and Service Manager.  He has years of experience in parts and service for boats and he is looking forward to giving you the same high quality of service our regular customers have come to expect.
